Softball Recap: Chinle Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Monument Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Chinle proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Mustangs on April 7th, they had to take a 12-8 loss.

Chinle's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12. As for Monument Valley, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Chinle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monument Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-3 loss against Kingman on the 28th.
