The West Point Pointers suffered their biggest loss since December 4, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Carver College and Career Academy 84-37. West Point has struggled against Carver College and Career Academy recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Carver College and Career Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyson Marsh out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 19 rebounds. Camron Paul was another key contributor, scoring 29 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
West Point has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Carver College and Career Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Northumberland at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. Northumberland is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Carver College and Career Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mathews is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
