Softball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-4 to the Eagle Point Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-0 defeat on Saturday.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Eagle Point, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ashland is set to face off against their familiar foe Churchill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eagle Point will square off against rival Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
