Basketball Game Preview: Hearne Eagles vs. Thrall Tigers + How To Watch

Hearne has gone 8-2 against Thrall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Tigers at 6:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hearne has three straight wins, Thrall has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Hearne blew past St. Joseph Catholic 59-19. That looming 59-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hearne yet this season.

Hearne had a senior duo take command as Cristian Robinson posted 13 points along with six assists and three steals and Andralius Scott shot 42% from the field en route to 10 points and seven rebounds. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kellen Bowser, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 10 points.

Hearne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 34 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, Thrall had to suffer through a 74-30 loss at the hands of Thorndale.

Hearne's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Thrall, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Hearne against Thrall in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 65-30 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
