Baseball Recap: Cabrini Triumphs

The third road match was the charm for Cabrini, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Shrine Catholic Knights on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Monarchs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Brycen Kimes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks.

On the hitting side, Evan Bergdoll was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Bergdoll is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
