Softball Recap: Snowflake Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Snowflake won against Blue Ridge on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Everything went the Lobos' way against the Holbrook Roadrunners as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Roadrunners: they've now won five in a row.

Kashlynn Cantrell spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Taya Schneider, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Brittyn Butler was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Snowflake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holbrook only posted an OBP of .261.
