La Grange came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 68-41 win over the Bellville Brahmas. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Leopards also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

La Grange's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Conner Brooks led the charge by going 7 of 10 on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Mathis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

La Grange smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.
