Maya Barajas Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Orestimba's Maya Barajas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Barajas rushed for 101 yards. She was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.
Orestimba has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Barajas and Orestimba will face off against Sonora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Escalon Gets a Boost from Velasco in 24-6 Win
Escalon picked up their third consecutive win on Wednesday thanks in part to Arianna Velasco. Nobody could stop Velasco as he threw for 69 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of her passes.
Escalon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. Velasco and Escalon will challenge Hilmar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Hughson found a leader in Leah Hobby as the team took down Hilmar on Wednesday. Hobby did her part (and then some), throwing for 209 yards and five touchdowns for the 'W'.
Hughson pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Hobby and Hughson will square off against Ripon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Jasmine Barron Makes It Two for Escalon
Another Escalon player making an appearance on this list is Jasmine Barron. She picked up 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 39 yards.
Unfortunately for Sonora, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Barron. Barron picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown the last time she and the Wildcats duked it out back in September.

Presley Wells Makes It Two for Hughson
The second Hughson player making an appearance here is Presley Wells, and for good reason. She picked up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 65 yards on only eight carries.
For the year, Wells has caught 14 touchdowns while averaging 51.5 receiving yards per game.
