Basketball Recap: Forge Christian Fury vs. Basalt Longhorns
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forge Christian). They breezed past the Basalt Longhorns to the tune of 90-33 on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Fury's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Longhorns are ranked 156th).

Forge Christian was led to victory by Levi Clark and Erique Diggins. Clark shot 70% from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and five boards, while Diggins went 7-for-10 to rack up 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. Those six steals gave Diggins a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Treysen Eye, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.
Forge Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Basalt only racked up eight.
