Recap: Arcadia Titans vs. Combs Coyotes
The Arcadia Titans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They didn't even let Combs onto the board and left with a 19-0 victory. Given Arcadia's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Combs is ranked 144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brady Forst was his usual excellent self, rushing for 196 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Forst is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played.
Arcadia's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Combs' QB won't forget Owen Bowers anytime soon given Bowers sacked him four times.
Arcadia's win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Combs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Arcadia will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Combs, they will head out on the road to face off against Desert Sunrise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
