Volleyball Recap: Plainfield's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Plainfield came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Fishers Tigers by a score of 2-0. The Quakers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Quakers were just returning the favor.

Audrey Utterback paced Plainfield's offense, picking up 11 kills. Utterback got some help from Charlee Groninger and her 19 assists. Groninger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Plainfield's record is now 4-0. As for Fishers, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Plainfield and Fishers will both be playing Terre Haute North Vigo the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Quakers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
