Oloa Motas was a major factor in Mission Hills's win over Poway on Friday. Motas was dynamite, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Motas and Mission Hills are taking a road trip to take on San Marcos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Grizzlies had to take a loss when they last met the Knights, but Motas had little to do with the loss: she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
