Softball Recap: Chinle Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Chinle was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 13-1 to the Northwest Christian Crusaders. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

Chinle's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Northwest Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Chinle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwest Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Sabino at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Sabercats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
