The Loyola Academy Ramblers will square off against the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Loyola Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Carmel, who was ranked 13th at the time (Loyola Academy was ranked 12th). The Ramblers were beaten by the Corsairs 42-14 on Friday. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Chicago Mt. Carmel strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 35-28 win over Fenwick. 35 seems to be a good number for the Caravan as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Loyola Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Everything went Loyola Academy's way against Chicago Mt. Carmel in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Loyola Academy made off with a 31-7 victory. Will the Ramblers repeat their success, or do the Caravan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
