Soccer Recap: Cabrillo Comes Up Short

Cabrillo was the 6-1 winner over Tranquillity when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Cabrillo Conquistadores fell just short of the Tranquillity Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Conquistadores have lost by just one goal.

Anthony Montoya and Ivan Cardenas scored both of Cabrillo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Cabrillo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-4-2 record this season. As for Tranquillity, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Cabrillo has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Mojave on the 14th. As for Tranquillity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Corcoran on the 14th.
