Baseball Recap: Rocklin Thunder vs. Reno Huskies
Rocklin lost to Reno back in March of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Rocklin Thunder came out on top against the Reno Huskies by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.
Daniel Panteloglow looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Colby Pudge, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.
Rocklin now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Reno, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Looking ahead, Rocklin is taking a road trip to challenge West Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. West Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Reno, they will take on Grand Terrace in a tournament on March 17th.
