Basketball Recap: Jr Bates Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Rogers

Pickerington North won the last time they faced Rogers and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers snuck past the Rams with a 57-53 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Pickerington North got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jr Bates out in front who shot 42% from the field en route to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Bates a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daunte Curtis, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards.

Pickerington North now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Rogers, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
