Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill kept a clean sheet against Landmark Christian on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the War Eagles 1-0. Given Chapel Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Landmark Christian are ranked 324th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chapel Hill's one-goal win came courtesy of Leah Mclain, who's now up to 16 this season.

The victory (which was Chapel Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Landmark Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
