Soccer Recap: Olympia Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Olympia was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 8-1 to the Peoria Christian Chargers. Olympia were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Peoria Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Olympia's goal came courtesy of Elyse Eimer, who's now up to 19 this season.

Olympia's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Peoria Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Olympia wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth on the 30th. As for Peoria Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Quad Cities Christian on the 30th.
