Hay Springs came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Hyannis Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 win. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-9.

Devyn Young paced Hay Springs' offense, picking up 15 kills. Young got some help from Reese Varvel and her 19 assists. Varvel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hay Springs' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Hyannis, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Hay Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bayard on the 18th. As for Hyannis, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Maxwell on the 20th.
