Volleyball Recap: Golden Plains Bulldogs vs. Cimarron Bluejays
Golden Plains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cimarron Bluejays. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
After all that action, the final score was 25-17, 25-4.
Cimarron can attribute much of their success to Kynlee Frink, who had eight digs.
Golden Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Cimarron, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Golden Plains is on the road again on Tuesday to play Victoria. As for Cimarron, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win vs. Rawlins County on the 14th.
