Isabelle (Izzy) Horton Game Report: @ Wesleyan Christian Academy

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Isabelle (Izzy) Horton stepped things up a notch to give Covenant Day the 'W'. Horton scored a run while going 3-for-5. The performance also marked the most hits (three) she has had since back in April of 2024.

Horton and Covenant Day will host Metrolina Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Warriors thanks in part to Horton: she scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
