Pusch Ridge Christian Academy dropped down to 8-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 35-14 to the Benjamin Franklin Chargers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Although Pusch Ridge Christian Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Levi Adcock and Dominic Painter.

As for Benjamin Franklin, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 39.7 points this season.

Benjamin Franklin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Stetka, who rushed for 71 yards and a pair of scores. Gavin Wyler was another key signal caller, throwing for 264 yards and two touchdowns.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and Benjamin Franklin are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Lions will face off against Page at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will need to watch out since the Sand Devils have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven contests. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will challenge Dysart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Stetka and Jevon Christmas.
