Soccer Recap: Mauldin Has No Trouble Against Easley

Mauldin kept a clean sheet against Easley on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Green Wave. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Mauldin's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Easley are ranked 88th).

Mauldin hit Easley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Thony Usuga, Drew Larkin, and Caeden Christian.

Mauldin's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Easley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10-1.

Looking ahead, Mauldin will challenge Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Easley, they will face off against Greenville H at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Greenville H will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Easley surely won't give up without a fight.
