Football Recap: Cashmere Bulldogs vs. College Place Hawks
Cashmere put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the College Place Hawks on the road to the tune of 59-12. Fans of the Bulldogs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Rylan Hatmaker was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes. A healthy portion of that aerial production (159 yards to be exact) went to Logan Spies.
Cashmere's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for College Place, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Cashmere will face off against Wahluke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cashmere knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 point or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Wahluke likes a good challenge. As for College Place, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Connell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
