Basketball Recap: Childress Finds Playoff Glory Versus Hale Center

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Childress had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Hale Center Owls by a score of 72-64.

Childress has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points over those games. As for Hale Center, their loss dropped their record down to 20-10.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats duke it out with the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Idalou's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 contests. Hale Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
