Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Desert Oasis). They breezed by the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners to the tune of 73-27 on Monday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-15.

Despite the defeat, Southeast Career Tech had strong showings from Edward Arellano, who posted ten points, and Diego Galarza, who put up nine points. That's the most points Galarza has posted since back in December of 2024.

Desert Oasis' win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-7. As for Southeast Career Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Desert Oasis will square off against Rancho at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will take on Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
