Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain Ridge). Everything went their way against the Valley Vista Monsoon on Friday as the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions made off with an 8-0 win. With that victory, the Mountain Lions brought their scoring average up to 3 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Valley Vista from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. COOPER UMBAUGH led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Mountain Ridge's win bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Valley Vista, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Mountain Ridge has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Liberty on the 15th. As for Valley Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 loss against South Mountain on the 14th.
