Baseball Recap: Fairview Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beachwood, Fairview was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Oberlin Phoenix by a score of 6-3. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Phoenix: they've now won nine in a row.

Fairview got a big performance out of Colin Meyers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Nathan Clark also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Fairview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Oberlin, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
