Volleyball Recap: Solon Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North, Solon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Normandy Invaders by a score of 3-1. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Invaders, too.

Solon's win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Normandy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Solon and Normandy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Comets are set to face off against their familiar foe Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Normandy will square off against rival Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
