Lowell is 9-0-1 against Haverhill since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Red Raiders will square off against the Hillies at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

If Haverhill heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Lowell took over last week. The Red Raiders' defense stepped up to hand Andover a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Given Lowell's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Andover are ranked 62nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Haverhill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Central Catholic, falling 5-0.

Lowell's win bumped their record up to 13-0-2. As for Haverhill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1.

Everything went Lowell's way against Haverhill when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Lowell made off with a 6-0 victory. Do the Red Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hillies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
