Volleyball Recap: Baxter Springs Lions vs. Frontenac Raiders
Baxter Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frontenac Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-5.
Baxter Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 16-19. As for Frontenac, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-9.
Baxter Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Columbus on the 15th. Frontenac does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
