Volleyball Recap: Big Foot Starts Season with Win at Home

Big Foot took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Harvard Hornets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Big Foot never let Harvard on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 28-26, 25-12.

Leah Paulsen paced Big Foot's offense, picking up 11 kills. Paulsen got some help from Maddie Perkins and her 21 assists. Riley Stankevitz controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Big Foot will face off against Tomah at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Harvard, they will square off against Richmond-Burton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
