Baseball Recap: Ignacio Bobcats vs. Center Vikings        
        
		
            
 Ignacio put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season  on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Center Vikings with a sharp  21-1 win. Winning may never get old, but Ignacio sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
  Devante Montoya was a major factor no matter where he played. He  pitched 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Montoya was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Phillip Quintana was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI.  Ambrose Valdez was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Ignacio has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record  this season. As for Center, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-14.
 Ignacio has the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Pagosa Springs at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pagosa Springs knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Ignacio likes a good challenge. As for Center, they are on the road again  on Tuesday to play Sargent at 2:00  p.m. Sargent will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last.
