Basketball Recap: Valley Forge Comes Up Short

Valley Forge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 58-14 loss at the hands of the Lakewood Rangers. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-9.

Valley Forge's loss came despite strong showings from Gracie Kercher and Taylor Patrick. Kercher posted five points, while Patrick put up five points.

Valley Forge's record is now 0-20. As for Lakewood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Valley Forge is taking a road trip to square off against Elyria at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Olmsted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lakewood is facing North Olmsted at the right time seeing as North Olmsted is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
