If Franklin Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sagemont Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Juliana Aristizabal. The Lions put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday with plenty of help from Aristizabal, who had 11 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Sagemont Prep never let Franklin Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 28-26.

Sagemont Prep's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Franklin Academy, they moved to 11-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Sagemont Prep has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Edison Private on the 16th. As for Franklin Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Hialeah-Miami Lakes on the 14th.
