D'Iberville is 8-2 against St. Martin since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The D'Iberville Warriors will head out to take on the St. Martin Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. D'Iberville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

D'Iberville played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They strolled past Harrison Central with points to spare, taking the game 61-45.

Meanwhile, St. Martin was beaten by Biloxi 63-36 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.

D'Iberville will need focus on slowing down Elias Duncan, one of several St. Martin players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points. That's the most points Duncan has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Lleyton Wilson, who had six points and five rebounds.

St. Martin's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6. As for D'Iberville, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

D'Iberville strolled past St. Martin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 53-38. Will D'Iberville repeat their success, or does St. Martin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
