Volleyball Recap: Pana Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pana duked it out with Edwards County on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

Jaycee Kolb was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last ten matches.

Pana's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Edwards County, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Coming up, Pana will take on Riverton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edwards County, they will challenge Anna-Jonesboro at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
