Recap: Grantsville Cowboys vs. Ogden Tigers
The Grantsville Cowboys pushed their score all the way to 58 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-58 to Ogden. Grantsville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ogden apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Grantsville still got an impressive performance from Bryson Roberts, who scored nine points along with five steals. Roberts has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Decker Dzierzon, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Grantsville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Ogden, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
Grantsville will head out on the road to square off against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Union is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Ogden, they will be playing at home against Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Morgan's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
