Volleyball Game Preview: Pacific Ridge Firebirds vs. Classical Academy Caimans

The Pacific Ridge Firebirds will venture away from home to take on the Classical Academy Caimans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Pacific Ridge came up short against Sage Creek and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Firebirds in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 15-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Camden Martin put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs gave him a new career-high. Chris Hamel also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Meanwhile, Classical Academy beat Vista Murrieta 2-0 on Saturday.

Pacific Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
