Meanwhile, Coral Shores fell victim to Miami Christian and their airtight pitching crew last Monday. They lost 24-0 to the Victors. Having soared to a lofty 25 runs in the game before, the Hurricanes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Somerset Academy South Homestead now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Coral Shores, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
