Baseball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Comes Up Short

Cosumnes Oaks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Pleasant Grove Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-0 loss last Wednesday.

Cosumnes Oaks saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Davis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Cosumnes Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Pleasant Grove, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Cosumnes Oaks didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Burbank on the 5th. As for Pleasant Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-4 win against McClatchy on the 5th.
