Basketball Recap: Pinewood Takes a Loss

Pinewood lost against Harker back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pinewood Panthers took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harker Eagles.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Vyom Vidyarthi, who posted 12 points. Advay Monga was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Pinewood dropped their record down to 10-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Harker, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Pinewood has already played their next matchup (against Crystal Springs Uplands), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Harker will venture away from home to face off against Eastside College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Harker is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
