Softball Recap: Trinity Prep Comes Up Short

Trinity Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-2 to the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 17-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Trinity Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyliah Arnold, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Creekside Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Trinity Prep and Creekside Christian Academy will both be playing Covington Academy the next time they take the field. Creekside Christian Academy will host Covington Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Trinity Prep will host them at 4:00 p.m. on March 14th.
