Football Recap: Green Comes Up Short at Home Against Indian Valley

Green unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indian Valley Braves on Friday.

Grady Kinsey was nothing short of spectacular for Indian Valley: he rushed for 334 yards and three scores while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Kinsey has posted since back in October of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Indian Valley, they will head out to face off against Steubenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
