Basketball Game Preview: Marengo Panthers vs. Shields Panthers

Marengo is 0-3 against Shields since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Marengo Panthers will be playing at home against the Shields Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

Last Saturday, Marengo ended up a good deal behind Shields and lost 48-33.

The losing side was boosted by Jordan Moore, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 18 points and four steals. That was a full 54.5% of Marengo's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

The victory (which was Shields' sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Marengo, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
