West Point had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Holly Pond Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kenlee Perry paced West Point's offense, picking up nine kills. Perry got some help from Patton Fell and her 11 assists. Perry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

West Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hanceville on the 21st. As for Holly Pond, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gaston on the 23rd.
