Football Game Preview: South Fork Cubs vs. Tomales Braves + How To Watch

The South Fork Cubs are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Tomales Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Fork comes in on three and Tomales on six.

On Friday, South Fork didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Potter Valley, but they still walked away with a 24-20 victory.

Meanwhile, Tomales strolled past Round Valley with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 42-28.

Tomales didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ivan Gonzalez and Wyatt Cornett. Gonzalez's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 104 rushing yards.

South Fork's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tomales, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything came up roses for South Fork against Tomales in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, as the team secured a 46-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
