Volleyball Recap: Westhill Takes a Loss

Westhill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Stamford Black Knights, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Vikings have suffered against the Black Knights since April 19, 2021.

While Westhill was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-19.

Westhill's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Stamford, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Westhill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Ridgefield on the 15th. As for Stamford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Darien on the 15th.
