Recap: Forsyth Panthers vs. Neosho Wildcats
The Forsyth Panthers can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Neosho as Forsyth made off with a 77-56 victory. Winning may never get old, but Forsyth sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Neosho lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Colton Southern, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiden Asberry, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Forsyth's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Neosho, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Forsyth will head out on the road to challenge Mountain Grove on Tuesday. Mountain Grove will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Forsyth is ranked 88th). As for Neosho, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lamar knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Neosho likes a good challenge.
